In this hexagram, the truth shines before the Sage Wanderer, who has been able to arrive at this point evading difficult circumstances.
Now that he has seen the correct path it is a matter of time before he successfully crosses the Waters. He will, however, need more light in order to continue. The Sage knows that he should not try to change the circumstances (instability, and ambiguity of the Waters) when it is not the right time. It is advisable to follow the pre-decided path, but to confirm it with other visions, and be ready to change it all if need be; such is the inconsistent nature of the Waters.
